新北市淡水區今（7）日發生一起死亡車禍，一名鍾姓男子（27歲）騎機車載鍾姓女子（36歲）撞上分隔島，兩人當場彈離機車向外飛，警消獲報到現場救人時，鍾女因頭部重創已無生命跡象，經醫院搶救後仍在晚間10時不治身亡；鍾男則全身多處擦傷，意識清楚無生命危險。初步了解車禍原因疑似是鍾男分心所致。
綜合媒體報導，今日傍晚5時左右，鍾男與鍾女騎機車雙載至淡水區中正路二段往碼頭方向時，不知為何撞上分隔島，兩人當場彈飛，機車則止不住衝擊力道向前滑行了10幾公尺才停下，兩人受傷倒地，現場血流滿地；警消隨後至現場救人時，鍾女已無生命跡象，雖經醫院急救一度恢復呼吸心跳，但仍在晚間10時不治身亡；鍾男則全身多處擦傷，意識清楚無生命危險。
警方對鍾男進行酒測後數值為0，確定鍾男並未酒駕；根據後方行車紀錄器和鍾男證詞發現，坐在後方的鍾女因安全帽被風吹走，鍾男回頭查看狀況如何時，疑似分心才直接撞上分隔島，不過詳細原因仍待警方進一步調查釐清。
